Ramiro Gumucio, MD

Ramiro Gumucio M.D. was born and raised in Chicago, Il. He received a majority of his education in Chicago, earning his B.S. in Biology from Loyola University and his M.D. from University of Illinois College of Medicine. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has transitioned into academics both in the undergraduate and graduate arenas. He also serves as an assistant professor at Rosalind Franklin University.
Dr. Gumucio understands the responsibility to educate our students and prepare them for future success. His lectures are embedded with helping students develop critical thinking skills while encouraging curiosity and inquisitiveness. He looks forward to preparing students for professional careers in the health sciences as well as harboring an interest in science for his non majors.
