Yeshivas Hakayitz Summer Camp Covid-19 Camp Updates
Covid-19 Camp Updates

Dear Chicagoland Families:

We are pleased to announce that Yeshivas HaKayitz is officially ON for Summer 2020!

We are grateful for your patience and understanding while we worked through all of the details and considerations for operating a safe and effective camp in this environment. There is still much to plan, but our camp leadership team remains hard at work in planning to ensure that we offer an exciting, fun camp program that complies with the guidelines.

Limited spaces filling up fast. Register now!

Kayitz has re-invented itself to respond to the current times – but campers will still enjoy a month filled with more activities, sports, and fun than they can imagine! And after a full morning and afternoon program on the grounds of HTC’s sprawling Skokie campus, campers will enjoy a Zoom activity at night with their counselors, creating more memories and strengthening their relationships.

• Breakfast – Lunch – Canteen
• Inspiring Torah Learning
• Modified League Sports and Drills
• Expanded Indoor Game Room

Modified pricing for Summer 2020! Scholarships still available!

Based on the switch to a non-overnight camp model and the additional programming changes required to operate camp in the current environment, we have reduced the price of camp to $1,650, plus an additional security fee/COVID fee of $50 to help offset security costs and additional sanitization expenses, for a total cost of $1,700. (The original cost of camp was $2,545, plus an overnight trip fee of $75.)

Families who have already paid the original 2020 fees in full will either be refunded the difference or have the opportunity to apply the difference to Summer 2021. Discounts that applied originally will still be applied now; scholarships that were previously awarded will be pro-rated to reflect the updated tuition. Please be patient while our office staff works through adjusting each camper’s account; we will send out updated statements as soon as possible.

SAVE THE DATE: We will be conducting a mandatory orientation meeting for all campers and families Wednesday, July 8th at 7:00pm via Zoom to review the critically important regulations that campers will be required to adhere to this summer. No campers will be allowed into Kayitz unless they have attended the mandatory orientation together with a parent. Prior to the orientation, we will send out the latest updates on Kayitz 2020’s COVID guidelines for you and your camper to review in advance.
