Rav Teller's first role in the Yeshiva was that of High School principal. His fine character and gentle nature endeared him to the bochurim. Subsequently, he assumed the position of Maggid Shiur - Rosh Yeshiva in the Beis Midrash. It was here that he began a fruitful career of educating and shaping the minds of hundreds of talmidim that studied under him. His deliberate methodology in teaching Gemora coupled with his talent for explaining even the most difficult concepts, allowed his students to progress steadily in their studies and prepare for a lifetime of productive Torah learning. His devotion to the specific needs of each talmid was legendary; their spiritual, emotional and physical well-being was his highest priority.
Our Yeshiva is fortunate to have had the opportunity for more than three decades to learn from, and be inspired by, Rav Teller. May his memory inspire us all to grow as B'nei Torah and strive to meet our spiritual potential.
